Easier Than I Thought

One of our core pillars at Verbal Ink is "to find ways to make things easier and more fun." The basic premise behind this is that we are always looking for ways to make our workflow easier and approach situations as opportunities to learn and grow.

This means every morning when we wake up we all have the potential for greatness. The so called "obstacles" that we often think are in our way are not really the problem. More times than not it's how we approach the situation because it might seem overwhelming or scary. Our attitudes, limitations, and old beliefs all play a role in this.

What's amazingly powerful is that we have more control in this process than we think. By simply approaching a situation from a place of learning or looking forward to what we will learn, we actually shift how our brain functions, freeing up space to see the problem in a new light.

This is often times where true insight occurs and why being "online" 24/7 can actually hinder our progress rather than help. Some of our best insights often come when we are in the shower, daydreaming, or taking a break.

Next time you face a situation that you perceive as difficult, stop and ask yourself why it couldn't be easy or why you actually think it seems so hard. You might be surprised to see that by simply stopping for a few seconds to reframe the situation, that the solution was right in front of you the whole time.
